Blogger Meetup in Basel

Just got back from the Swiss Bloggers meetup in downtown Basel. It was fun sharing experiences and talking about tools and seeing the blogger “in person”. As bamboozled had announced a couple of journalists came by asking questions about blogs, star bloggers… and the future development of blogs.

    @ Mlle A.,
yes, I’ll point to the articles…

    @ Matthias,
well I did hear something about a special Matt Meet… I guess that must be *the* star blogger event!
The journalists asked if there’s a star blogger in CH. The general feeling, was how do you define successful blogging cos people have very different reasons and motivations for blogging. The number of visits is not
    the only measure.

Journalists always need stars, scandals, sex, crime… I guess they’re disappointed you didn’t deliver the goods :-).

I remember having a brief discussion about success and quality in Stefan Bucher’s blog. Ah, here it is: http://www.stefanbucher.net/blog/312
I guess this is as good a definition as any.

BTW, if all it takes to become a star is to NOT show up at a blogmeet, I’ll make sure to miss the Matt Meet too - it should make me world famous :-).
